In any democracy, income tax inevitably becomes legalized theft. Politicians promise “free” benefits to non-payers, who then vote to loot the productive.
The Rot at the Core Millions pay nothing in federal income tax yet demand more spending, entitlements, and redistribution. They face zero cost for a bigger government. The result: Exploding debt, dependency, class warfare, and economic drag.
This is not representation — it’s plunder by ballot. Today, tax consumers outvote taxpayers, turning the system into a rigged ATM.
Replace Income Tax with Expense Tax The fix is simple and just: Those who pay zero income tax but receive any government monetary assistance get no say on taxes. No skin in the game, no vote on the bill.
Abolish income tax. Replace it with a consumption-based Expense Tax paid by everyone who buys goods and services.
Everyone who consumes pays.
No more punishing work, savings, or success.
Fair, transparent, and impossible to evade for welfare voters.
Government spending faces real limits — because even recipients feel the tax at the register.
Income tax rewards sloth and punishes achievement. Expense tax rewards responsibility and ties everyone to fiscal reality.
In a world drowning in collective demands, endless rules, and moral busybodies, simplicity is revolutionary. We stand on two timeless principles that protect the sovereign individual from coercion, guilt-tripping, and institutional overreach. These are not suggestions. They are the operating system of a free life.
First Golden Rule:“Live and let live.” This is the rule of peaceful coexistence. It declares that your life belongs to you — not to the tribe, the government, the majority, or the loudest voices on social media.
You have the right to pursue your own happiness, speak your own mind, and chart your own course, so long as you do not initiate force against another. In return, others must grant you the same space.
“Live and let Live” is the antidote to every busybody, every central planner, and every ideology that demands your conformity. It draws a clear line: your body, your mind, your property, your choices — hands off.
Second Golden Rule:“Do not do to others what you would not want done to you.” This is the rule of moral reciprocity and self-restraint. It is negative in form, which makes it far stronger and clearer than its positive cousin. It does not command you to sacrifice for others. It simply forbids aggression, theft, fraud, and violation of rights.
If you do not want your speech censored, do not support the censorship of others. If you do not want your property seized, do not cheer when others’ property is taken. If you do not want your conscience violated, do not demand that others bend to your beliefs.
This rule protects the individual by making every person their own first line of moral defense. It demands consistency. It exposes hypocrisy instantly. And it needs no army of enforcers, only honest self-reflection.
Why These Two Rules Matter Today Collectivism tells you the group comes first. Statism tells you the government knows best. Modern culture tells you your feelings justify controlling others.
The Two Golden Rules cut through all of it. They restore power where it belongs: with the individual. They require no complex legislation, no diversity officers, and no re-education camps. They demand only personal responsibility and intellectual honesty.
Together they form the foundation of constitutional individualism:
Self-preservation without apology
Liberty without permission
Peace without surrender
At https://myself.net, we reject the notion that the individual must bow to the collective. We defend the natural rights of man against every form of institutionalized coercion.
Live and let Live.Do not do to others what you would not want done to you.
These are not polite suggestions for a harmonious society. They are the iron rules of a free one.
The Individual Comes First. Always has. Always will.
We’re all weary of the stress and anxiety that comes from being in charge of our own lives. Why not allow yourself to be embraced by the warm, caring arms of collectivism? Coming soon to a Democrat-controlled city near you!
I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life, so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own.
I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone. You can’t justify this insanity.
We have become a nation that has lost its collective sense of direction. We see other countries go socialist and collapse, but it seems like a great plan to us.
Somehow, it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
Universities that advocate equality discriminate against Asian-Americans in favor of African-Americans.
Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, while others are not held responsible for their actions at the present time.
Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it’s a violation of THEIR rights.
People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
After legislating gender, if a dude pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.
It was cool for Joe Biden to “blackmail” the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.
People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out large loans to earn their degrees.
Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.
Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcomed.
$5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.
If you cheat to get into college, you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country, you go to college for free.
And, pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us “racists”!
Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility, and people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it is racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China.
We are clearly living in an upside-down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right.
Wake up, America. The great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and sinking fast.
The concept of Zionism has received adverse publicity in the press of late, especially thanks to slogans by supposedly pro-Palestinian activists in the West vilifying Jews. These supposedly pro-Palestinian activists are actually just antisemites; they have never proposed a thing that would make Palestinian lives better. Anyhow these activists call Jews “Zionists” to avoid having themselves labelled as Jew-haters.
Due to a fundamental clash of irreconcilable ethical religious principles – that of Torah versus Islamic Sharia – it appears that only Israel’s overwhelming military strength, command of technology and will to protect its country from tyranny can deter the nation’s Islamist enemies.
While combating a hostile local media that support what Netanyahu terms the “deep state”, health issues, personal slights, legal charges — many seemingly politically fabricated in the midst of an existential war by antagonistic state jurists determined to assert their control over elected politicians — Netanyahu presses on, not only on a mission to save Israel from fundamentalist terrorism, but ultimately, by extension, the West itself.
There does not appear to be anyone else in Israel who could have done a better job against the almost inestimable odds than those Netanyahu has been forced to overcome since October 7, 2023.
The words describing the crucial role of Queen Esther of ancient Persia apply equally to Israel’s statesman, Netanyahu: “Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
There does not appear to be anyone else in Israel who could have done a better job against the almost inestimable odds than those Netanyahu has been forced to overcome since October 7, 2023.
Great statesmen are generally recognized as such only after dire events faced by the nation have settled, and his strategy is seen to have succeeded. Once the threat to the nation has passed and fresh democratic elections eventually arrive, the statesman is often replaced as leader and a new prime minister or president is appointed to lead the nation into a better future – a future created through the efforts, wisdom and courage of his predecessor. This is what transpired with that great British leader, Winston Churchill.

The transformation of the medieval world into the modern world came about with the idea that man could and should transform his lot in life.
The liberal individualism of the Enlightenment however was soon countered by reactionary movements, feudal and socio-feudal, seeking to put the genie of individual autonomy back in the box through collectivist movements.
Socialism postured as progressive when it was reactionary. Its leaders, most often hailing from the upper class and upper middle class, reverted newly liberated societies in Russia and China back to feudalism under the guise of liberating them. The Bolsheviks took Czarist feudalism and rebranded it as collective farming, forbidding the “liberated” farmers from owning property or livestock, and even from leaving their farms to seek a better life in the big cities.
The empowerment of the individual had given way to the enslavement of man in the service of an ideal society. Individuals were once again worthless, except as they fit into a larger plan.
The ultimate struggle will be less about movements and more about individuals. The more the system fails, the more repressive it will become. And only millions of individuals can defeat it.
Socio-feudalism has the destruction of individual autonomy as its central goal.
Among the most prominent of these was what would eventually be called socialism.
While early socialist movements had been a radical Christian heresy emphasizing communal living, these experiments invariably failed on a local level, leaving behind a trail of wrecked lives.
Nineteenth-century radical theorists began laying out plans for the communal transformations of entire societies.
Fourier’s socialist “phalanxes” which would influence everything from Soviet communal farms to hippie communes in the United States, were feudal mass communities with no private property and everyone assigned a role in life under the rule of a centralized “omniarch”.
Socialists had to justify the elevation of the collective over the individual through fatalism about the role of man.
All evidence to the contrary, man has no ability to change his lot in life. He is only an atom in the larger phalanxes of life. As Robert Owen, the father of British Socialism, told the US Congress in an address in 1825, man “never did, nor is it possible he ever can, form his own character,” but is “universally plastic” and socialists could make him over into anything at all.
The US Declaration of Independence asserted that man was born free, but to the socialists he was born a slave and the best that he could ever hope for was to be a slave to the right cause.
Ralph Waldo Emerson insightfully critiqued Fourier: “He treats man as a plastic thing, something that may be put up or down, ripened or retarded, moulded, polished, made into solid, or fluid, or gas, at the will of the leader… but skips the faculty of life, which spawns and scorns system and system-makers, which eludes all conditions, which makes or supplants a thousand phalanxes and New-Harmonies with each pulsation.
Was man a “plastic thing” or the bearer of the mystery of the “faculty of life”?
Leftist revolutionary movements might begin by hailing the power of the individual, but invariably ended up in a socio-feudalism system making malleable man over to fit the five-year plan.
The socialist argument against individualism was human fallibility. The muckrakers gathered every example of misery and described them as social ills that society had to collectively remedy. Outwardly private philanthropic organizations claimed to help the poor, but their embrace of eugenics, including mandatory sterilization, seizing children from parents, prohibition, and greater state intervention, including mandatory centralized state education, set a pattern that was innately socialist even when its proponents avoided the use of the word.
Every crisis, including World War I and the Great Depression, was seen as a reason for replacing smaller institutions with larger ones and further disempowering the individual.
Hitler’s National Socialist party blamed Germany’s loss in WWI partly on free enterprise. Roosevelt and the Democrats blamed the Great Depression on free enterprise. Both built state systems for seizing control of it.
The Russian Bolsheviks not only blamed individual farmers for their famine, but used it to wipe them out.
The post-war economic rebound in America and Europe did not end socialism, but rebooted it, with governments confiscating even more wealth for “the benefit of society.”
The macro conflicts of WWII and the Cold War, the threat of nuclear annihilation, were used to define the individual as too small to make a difference on his or her own except as part of a larger mass movement.
In the 1960s, class warfare gave way to identity politics. Individuals had to join groups to fight for a fairer society. What governmental institutions had failed to accomplish in fully transforming man, the new movements set out to accomplish in the psychedelic decade. The individual was told that liberation would come from losing his bourgeois background, worldview, inhibitions, morality and values to a new emerging humanistic blob shooting along the rainbow to the right side of history.
The 1980s marked a reassertion of individual priorities over mass movements. The movements that had broken the country were distrusted. Socio-feudalism struck back with an environmental crisis taking place on such a scale that individuals were nothing when measured against it.
Global authorities had to immediately seize total power to save the human race.
Environmentalism has brought socio-feudalists closest to realizing Fourier’s vision of abolishing private property and packing everyone off to collective compounds with a defined role in life: Man has had his day, but individuals can’t help selfishly wrecking the planet. Only subservience to larger systems can stop global warming, end human misery and transform the world.
A new wave of gender identity activism further eliminated the line between the individual and the state. The personal was political at the most granular level. The pronouns you used, the products you bought, whether you left the light on or not, were political choices. Human existence became a series of political tests measuring allegiance to a state ideology.
When the personal is political, there is nothing personal left to the individual.
Socio-feudalism had contrived to reduce man to a state of total subservience.
Medieval England banned playing games, especially “fute-ball” because it was seen as a distraction from the priorities of the state.
Postmodern California passed two laws outlawing Indian mascots, along with plastic bags, gendered toys and a thousand other things.
Postmodern man occupies a world of illusory technologies and shrinking possibilities where children are discouraged from riding bikes, packed off to early schooling at toddlerhood and indoctrinated to believe that their playthings are the reason for the destruction of the world.
Socio-feudalism has the destruction of individual autonomy as its central goal, and the pandemic lockdowns showed how easy that goal is to achieve in the face of a crisis. Government could and did assert control over what an individual could wear and whether he could leave the house. The public eventually responded to it not with a mass movement, as those mostly failed or were repressed, but by unilaterally discarding the prohibitions of the state.
Americans had ultimately fulfilled Emerson’s faith in “the faculty of life, which spawns and scorns system and system-makers, which eludes all conditions.” And that is why socio-feudalism will fail unless it can reduce mankind to a state of abject helplessness, ignorance and fear.
That is what Communist and Islamist regimes strove for, with varying degrees of success. And it is still the great aim of socio-feudalism today.
The ultimate struggle will be less about movements and more about individuals.
The more the system fails, the more repressive it will become. And only millions of individuals can defeat it.

The American people have decided.
After the last 5-7 years of Woke ideology, which sought to take the country in a decidedly progressive direction, the majority has, instead, chosen to return to the familiar and time-tested path of tradition, common sense, and reason.
Donald Trump has won both the electoral college and the popular vote, displaying the rejection of policies that threatened to change American life in ways that were not acceptable to the majority.
Their votes affirmed that boys should not be able to participate in girls’ sports, undress with them in the locker rooms, that abortion is not the number one issue on the minds of all, that open borders are not the way people should come into a country, that DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusivity) does not top meritocracy and, perhaps, most important of all, that Israel should be supported and protected.
The results of this crucial election have also sent a loud message to the Woke students throughout America’s college campuses that terrorism can be properly distinguished and that Israel’s right to defend her homeland and her citizens is still a value held by those who understand right from wrong.
The ability to call Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, rather than freedom fighters, was also on the ballot because the Squad and their ilk did not win their bid to isolate Israel as a pariah while attempting to convince everyone that October 7th was a justified payback for establishing the Jewish homeland 76 years ago.
This victory is one which will impact Israel as she fights a battle, fully equipped from a military standpoint, because she will not be lacking the necessary weapons needed to win decisively against a bitter enemy that is set on her destruction. It means that true and lasting peace is within reach because the new Secretary of State will not be hopping on flights every couple of months to try to strongarm us into an ill-timed ceasefire at a time when our hostages remain languishing in the depths of Hamas tunnels.
While progress is important for every nation, it must be done in reasonable increments, with logic, common sense, and the ability to defend why new ideas are superior to those which are seeking to be replaced.
In the case of the Woke progressives, no one, with a minimum of sound thinking, could make a reasonable case for such absurd ideas as promoting gender fluidity, hiding the thoughts and emotions of children from their parents, teaching new rules of gender, including explicit language and behavior, to children from K-6th grade or why libraries should have drag queen sponsored story hours.
This election proved that the majority does not view these changes as progress but rather as perversion. They are not seen as welcomed enhancements, but rather as a forced imposition of a viewpoint which rejects family, faith and the freedom to pass on one’s personally held values and principles to the next generation.
The overreach of government, which was being fueled by individuals who despise the American way of life and all it brings, was apparently so onerous to most of the public, that voter turnout was greater than ever. Clearly, people understood the stakes, so they did what they had to do.
Here, in Israel, we can also breathe a great sigh of relief, knowing that, even with all its flaws, the Republicans, who have had a sweeping victory, both in the Office of President, Congress and the Senate, represent the party which is more favorable to Israel, more embracing of traditional family values and more likely to stand by our side in a war that they recognize is not reserved just for the Jewish people.
With much support from the evangelical community, the same people who are committed to pray for and bless Israel, through their repeated visits, we are assured of a faithful and loyal ally who will not be the fickle friends, weighing their support of us, based on polls or what they believe to be politically expedient for them.
The Abraham Accords now has a second shot at building a new era of cooperation and mutual respect between countries who otherwise would remain antagonistic towards us. For governments, brave enough to extend their hand of friendship, the possibility of a calm and peaceful future is within reach, for the first time in a long time.
It is this type of good will which can only serve to strengthen mankind and ensure a better tomorrow, a stark difference from the tearing down of revered statues and monuments, in an attempt to erase history and rewrite one which bears no resemblance to the true events that took place.
By: Eli Etsion 2024-02-04. I live in Israel, in a serene valley, an agricultural region. I have no idea of what goes on in the USA, aside from what I see on the news. I don’t see myself as qualified to march and demonstrate – demanding certain actions be taken by the United States…
In the meantime, in the USA, thousands of people who know nothing about what is really happening in Israel or Gaza, who are spoon-fed loads of fake news by useless social media which they foolishly consider as reliable sources, have the nerve to chant “from the river to the sea..” and “free Palestine,” under the pretense of being “pro-Palestinian, “ demanding of Israel to do things differently…
Some of these people are just hypocrites. Most are mainly misinformed and driven by propaganda they swallow eagerly.
Here are some short facts and numbers that should help you get your knowledge aligned:
1. Israel is a sovereign country that was invaded by several thousand militants on October 7th, 2023. They were led by activists of the “Hamas,” which is recognized worldwide as A TERROR ORGANIZATION.
2. In the aforementioned attack, over 1200 Israeli civilians were brutally butchered, some raped first. These were innocent civilians, men, women, children, elders, and babies. Another 240 or so were kidnapped into Gaza, taken out of their beds in PJs, on the morning of a holy day. Do you want a sense of what it means in American terms? Multiply these numbers by at least 35, and imagine it happened on Christmas morning when you’re getting ready to open your presents.
3. Hamas claims they have no food, water, medicine, etc., for their population – but they still seem to have plenty of missiles and rockets, and they never run out of weapons or materials for their tunnels. Those tunnels are stocked with all the food, water, and fuel necessary for the leaders of Hamas hiding in them to survive. The civilians of Gaza are pawns used by Hamas, yet still, 80% of them support Hamas. Hardly a case of innocent and uninvolved.
4. In 5 months of bombardments, aerial strikes, armed forces with tanks and guns being used in urban surroundings – the average death toll in Gaza every day is roughly one-sixth or less than the death toll inflicted in a few hours on Israel on October 7th. Most casualties in Gaza are not innocent civilians; they are Hamas militants – many wearing civilian clothes while firing RPGs and shooting at the IDF.
5. The UN agency for refugees in Gaza, UNRWA, employs mostly local people. Many of them are also members of Hamas. UN vehicles were used by these “humanitarians” to transport kidnapped bodies from Israel into Gaza. The UN was used as a cover for terror activity. Shocking? Not to anyone who lives in Israel.
6. While you pity the population of Gaza and demand that they receive aid – have you also demanded the immediate release of the remaining 130+ Israeli citizens held hostage – against all international laws – for FIVE MONTHS? Have you voiced any concern regarding the civilians on the Israeli side of the border, who have been living under constant fire from Gaza for over 15 years? Does it even slightly matter to you that tens of thousands of Israelis have been displaced since October 7th?
There is more, so much more.. but I would like to leave you with one more thought: It is claimed that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. The narrative of the Palestinians for many years has been one in which they are a poor victim of constant genocide and massacres – but in reality, the population in Gaza and the West Bank has been constantly growing in numbers.
Most of the killings in our little area are a result of assaults against Israeli civilians carried out by suicide bombers, knives, running over civilians with a car, and any other means that they see fit. Their chant – which so many Americans are repeating – “from the river to the sea…” basically says that from the river Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea, they will kill all Jews and take over “Palestine.” THAT IS A CALL FOR GENOCIDE.
I call on all of you to be responsible when choosing your sources. Make educated decisions based on actual data and facts – not on PR and propaganda.
Be honest and true; be balanced. Know that if you want to support Hamas, you are supporting a radical terror organization. If you choose to support Gaza in this conflict, if you demand that they receive humanitarian aid – don’t forget to fight for the release of the hostages held there too.
If you choose to be humanitarian only when it concerns the people of Gaza, you’re not a humanitarian; you’re a fraud.
If you chant “from the river…” and blame Israel for committing genocide – you’re a hypocrite.
It’s okay to take sides; just be honest about it, and don’t hide the motive behind your actions.
“A gun is like a parachute. If you need one and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again.”
The definition of the word Conundrum is something that is puzzling or confusing. Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:
America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized.
Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims.
They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government.
Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer.
The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it! And that pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century. Makes you wonder who is doing the math.
These three short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:
We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
Funny how that works. And here’s another one worth considering…
Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t.
Think about it…..and Last but not least :
Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams declared a state of emergency on Friday over the arrival of thousands of migrants bused from the U.S. southern border in recent months, imploring the Biden administration for aid, as the city’s overwhelmed shelters struggle to accommodate the recent arrivals.
Adams, a Democrat, said the city’s shelters are running out of bed space, with more than 61,000 homeless New Yorkers and migrants — including 20,000 children — in its housing system. A fifth of those in shelters are migrants, he said. The city has also enrolled 5,500 recently arrived migrant children in public schools.
At the current pace, the local shelter system could find itself housing 100,000 individuals next year, Adams said. He added that the city also anticipates spending over $1 billion receiving and housing migrants by next July.
So far, New York City has converted over 40 hotels into makeshift shelters and is planning to set up a tent city on Randall’s Island, but Adams said the city won’t have the money or housing capacity to support thousands of additional migrants and at the same time, assist the domestic homeless population.
“We now have a situation where more people are arriving in New York City than we can immediately accommodate, including families with babies and young children,” Adams said. “Once the asylum seekers from today’s buses are provided shelter, we will surpass the highest number of people in recorded history in our city’s shelter system.”
Since the spring, more than 17,000 migrants, many of them asylum-seekers from Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua and other Latin American countries, have arrived in New York City on hundreds of buses that originated from the U.S.-Mexico border, according to city data.
Thousands of migrants are in New York because Texas state officials have been putting them on buses to New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago to protest the Biden administration’s handling of the record border apprehensions reported over the past year.
Democratic officials in El Paso have also been offering free bus rides to New York City to migrants as part of an effort to alleviate overcrowding in local shelters, due largely to a sharp increase in the number Venezuelan asylum-seekers entering western Texas.
Adams on Friday said Republican state officials who have been sending migrants to New York were exploiting the city’s welcoming values, social services and right-to-shelter laws for “political gain.”
“We have not asked for this,” he said. “There was never any agreement to take on the job of supporting thousands of asylum seekers. This responsibility was simply handed to us without warning as buses began showing up.”
Renae Eze, a spokesperson for Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, called Adams’ remarks hypocritical and countered that the mayor should be telling President Biden to implement tougher policies along the U.S.-Mexico border.
“The true emergency is on our nation’s southern border where small Texas border towns are overrun and overwhelmed by hundreds of migrants every single day as the Biden administration dumps them in their communities,” Eze said.
State data show Texas has transported more than 12,000 migrants to Democratic-controlled cities on 270 buses, including approximately 3,100 to New York City.
In his remarks on Friday, Adams urged federal and state officials to help New York City host migrants by incresing funding, resources and new legal authorities; he called the current situation “unsustainable.”
Adams also asked New York state to support the establishment of migrant relief centers. He implored Congress to pass laws that would expedite the process of allowing asylum-seekers to work in the U.S., which would allow them to find work in the city, and he wants lawmakers to overhaul the immigration system, including by legalizing undocumented immigrants already living in the U.S.
The federal government, Adams suggested, should also implement a “decompression strategy” along the U.S.-Mexico border to “slow the outflow of asylum seekers” and transport migrants to other cities “to ensure everyone is doing their part.” Asked about Adams’ demands, the Department of Homeland Security said it was “leading a comprehensive effort to support cities” that are welcoming migrants, including by having the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) expedite requests from groups and officials seeking federal reimbursement for their migrant reception work.
“We will continue to do everything we can to support cities as some Republican governors intentionally create chaos and confusion with their cruel political stunts,” the department said in a statement to CBS News.
